Meet The Team
Dr. Kyle Severson
Chiropractor
Dr. Kyle Severson grew up in a small town in the heart of Wisconsin. It was there that he first discovered his passion for a healthy lifestyle as an avid competitive distance runner and he soon discovered the endless preventive and performance benefits of chiropractic wellness care during the recovery of several injuries.
After receiving his high honors Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, Dr. Kyle then dedicated his education to learning about Chiropractic and natural healing. He graduated magna cum laude in his class at Northwestern Health Sciences University as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2017, ready to spread the word of the true meaning of health.
Dr. Kyle loves to work with a variety of people in the community including children, athletes, elderly, and expecting moms, and specializes in optimal performance, maintaining health, and chronic pain and health conditions. Understanding the frustrations of injuries and poor health, it is his mission to give hope to anyone who finds themselves at Wilderness Wellness Chiropractic.
When he is not in the office taking care of patients, he enjoys running, hiking, canoeing, and being outdoors.
Carly
Chiropractic Assistant
Carly joined the team at Wilderness Wellness Chiropractic in April of 2023.
She was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota where she attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth for Communication and International Relations. Opportunities arose in 2016 and Carly moved to Alaska where she spent 3 years living and working around the state within the tourism and hospitality industry. After her time there, Carly moved to the end of the Gunflint Trail in Grand Marais, Minnesota, where she called home for several years. Moving back to Duluth was always her long term plan and the time was right to return back “home”.
Carly’s passion in life is helping others, whether in their personal or professional lives and the transition to the healthcare and wellness field was a natural step to take. The opportunity to work as a Chiropractic Assistant at Wilderness Wellness provides her with a new knowledge base and consistent learning, all while helping people care for their bodies.
During her free time, Carly likes to spend time with her dog, Salsa, camping and canoeing in the BWCA, cross country skiing, and spending time with her family.
