How It all works
What to expect when you visit us for the first time
At Wilderness Wellness, we want you to enjoy your experience of starting care with us. That's why we have specific steps set in place to make sure we do a thorough evaluation of your health concerns and give you the best recommendations to improve. Follow the steps below so you know what to expect the moment you walk into our beautiful office.
Step Two
All new patients are requested to fill out the new patient health application and all other authorization forms as completely as possible. We know your time is valuable, so you can skip this step in the office by filling them out before the first visit. Simply print out the forms attached to the button below and bring them completed to your initial consultation to get things rolling.
Step Four
A comprehensive chiropractic exam is performed to assess the overall function of the body and help identify any upstream problems that may be contributing to your health problems.
This includes:
-
specific spinal health examination
-
postural and gait evaluation
-
flexibility and motion tests
-
any neurological testing needed
Specific focus will be given to exploring the alignment and movement in the spine, as well as providing information on any triggers that cause pain or discomfort. The exam provides vital information leading the doctor to a better understand of your current state of health.
Step Five
A set of Chiropractic postural specific x-rays will be taken to have an accurate assessment of any damage and misalignments in the spine. Our X-ray system allows us to immediately see your spine without processing films and minimizing our need for re-takes while allowing us to apply imaging techniques to better visualize the structures we will be working with. A good majority of the recommendations and care received will be based on these x-ray findings.
Step Seven
When you arrive for your second appointment, a Report of Finding will be conducted at which time the cause of your condition or any abnormal findings will be discussed. After reviewing your case, the doctor will decide if you are a candidate for chiropractic care! A thorough explanation of care recommendations and action steps will be discussed, including finances and how we can help you reach your health goals.
Step Six
This concludes the initial evaluation and at this point, it will take the doctor 24 hours to carefully review all findings from the history, exam, and x-rays to come up with the appropriate care plan to get you feeling at your best again. A second appointment must be scheduled within 1-2 days for you to return to hear the doctors findings. This appointment is completely covered by the initial exam fee!
